Fun Outdoor Activities For Kids

Some of you will be wrapping up Holidays this weekend, while others are just getting started. Either way, these activities will get you and your kiddos moving and enjoying the great outdoors. Fun activities and outdoor play events for children are happening all over Brighton & Hove during the  holidays.

Outdoor Color Match

Going on a color hunt is a simple activity that can be done on-the-go to help take notice of nature’s subtle color differences that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Sponge Bombs

If you are on water restrictions, or are looking for a mess-free alternative to water balloons that can be used over and over again, try making your own sponge bombs! Dunk them in water, and use for a bucket toss game for plenty water play fun!

Use Outdoor Paint

There are plenty of outdoor paint products that are safe for kids that you can buy at the store, or simply make your own using flour, water, salt and food coloring. Then, allow your kids to use your driveway or patio as their canvas.

Have A Water Balloon Fight

It’s hot in the summer, and kids always want to find a way to beat the heat. Let them cool off and have fun by allowing them to have a water balloon fight. Fill up plenty of balloons and plenty of water guns and allow your children to have a blast while cooling off.

Get To Gardening

Get your kids to help. They like getting messy, so allow them to dig up the area where you’ll be planting. You can also allow your kids to pick out their own flower or plant and give them the responsibility of taking care of it throughout the summer months.

Adventure activities are now accepted ever as people consider get away from the stresses and strains that modern life brings by letting away from it all. Which has a wealth of adventure activities and outward bound activities available it is rarely been easier to bring along your equipment and have from it all for the weekend or week.

Thereby with this flux of people leaving towns and cities and heading to regions to take part in one of the numerous activities, health and safety and ensuring their safety at all times is key.

For adrenaline junkies there are numerous kinds of adventure activities that they can can take part in and for each getting the latest radio communication technology could be of real help to them.

Climbing activities are incredibly popular with both mountain climbing and abseiling featuring brimming with lists of activities. Such activities call for safety for being the top of peoples list as neglecting to stick to safety issues can frequently cause injuries as well as in sum case fatalities. I wouldn’t have thought a backpack with wheels would actually work for backpacking, however when I saw the site for the “Wheelpacker”(TM), I was impressed. You wear a frame that attaches you to a wheeled pack. It may even go over logs and rocks. It started me considering what other backpacking innovations are just waiting to be marketed. Here are some of the things I invented. Steal these ideas, please.

Inflatable Frame Backpack

With frame-less backpacks we quite often put folded sleeping pads within the pack for cushioning against our backs and some support for the load. Why don't you just have the part of the pack that rests from the user’s back inflate. Sticking with the same technology used for lightweight self-inflating sleeping bag pads, it will only add about six ounces. The backpack could then be used as a foot-bag/pad for sleeping.

Taking this idea further, I imagine a self-inflating backpack that folds out in a sleeping pad. The backpack “frame” could be the pad, in a “U” shape for some rigidity within the pack. Self-inflating sleeping bag pads are as light as 14 ounces now, and frame less packs 12 ounces, therefore the combination could probably be made to weigh just 20 ounces.

Wax Paper Food Bags

Put backpacking food in wax-paper packaging instead of plastic. The packages then be used as emergency fire-starters, since wax paper in most cases burn even when wet.

Pillow/Waterbag

When I need to carry more water I use the plastic bladders from boxed wine. They may be light, strong, i inflate the bag with air to use as a pillow too. To showcase a dual-purpose water container/pillow, it needs a soft removable covering of some sort.

JACKET BACKPACK

Why don't you a frame-less backpack with a jacket that is a the main pack? It can be folded dealt with, and the pack would've normal shoulder straps. When wearing the jacket, though, it might stabilize the pack, make you stay warmer, and make it easy to push through heavy brush, since it wouldn’t catch on things as easily. It is something like wearing a large jacket over a backpack, but with the weight-savings and stability that can come from combining them. Maybe it's called a “Jacket Pack-it.”

Backpacking Game

Print a chess/checkers board over a jacket or backpack, plus you've got a carry-along game that weighs nothing extra. Great for spening too much time in the tent waiting the rain. If you don’t carry the pieces, stones or pine cones could work as checkers.

Backpacking gear ideas and innovations keep popping into my head as I write this. Nearly everyone is based on the idea of “dual purpose” items. They may work, some might not exactly, but it is an entertaining dose of inspiration from a backpack with wheels.Don’t Forget To Checked your rims And wheels Before make it happen..
