Summer is here and it brings by using it the ever smiling sun, fresh breeze and blossoming flowers. The summer time is the time when all of us would like to break free and head outdoors to savor the pleasant weather and sunshine everywhere. Children are no different. Come summers and they'd want to go to beaches and pools, play with water, eat ice creams, to conquer the heat and also to enjoy themselves. Summer holiday activities ought to be designed keeping all these facets of summer in mind. So, regardless if you are a teacher or a parent, several unique games and activities, which you'll conduct during summers to instill creativity in youngsters and for their overall development.

Sun and also the Beach
Make the preschool children know very well what is a summer season, by letting them go through it. And what better way to experience summer compared to creating a beach scene. With this, take the kids to a park in order to the school ground itself. Carry along several beach towels, straw hats, suntan bottles (get them to empty), a picnic basket containing food and some cut outs from the beach from a magazine. To be able to carry out these outdoor activities, you'll need some construction paper, crayons, scissors, and pencils too, so carry these too. When you reach there spread out the towels, provide the hats to kids to put on and pretend as if everyone are on a beach. Show the kids beach pictures and ask them questions like, "have you visited a beach?", "why do people visit the beach?", etc. Afterward, provide the construction paper to the children and get them to draw things they believe are found near or in the ocean or simply ask the children to attract objects like the sun, fish, boats, fishermen, and fishnets. Once the kids are done, you can eliminate the things they have drawn and set them on the walls from the class room, once you reach back. Preschool themes for example creating a make-belief beach, are one of the most enjoyable summer activities.

Summer Special Fair
If you're ready to put in the effort, then another fun and challenging summer activity for preschoolers could be a summer fair wherein they reach indulge in activities such as face painting, bubble blowing, frozen treats tasting, ring tossing, etc. With this, you need to install booths at different places around the playground, which will be manned by parents. You'll have a stall wherein eight to ten different flavors of frozen treats are available for children to taste. At another booth, you are able to arrange for a large bathtub, where children may take a bath and play with one another in the water, by throwing water balloons at one another. At the food stall, request different kinds of foods such as strawberries, pineapples, melons, apples and oranges. Ask them to cut in chunks and put on a low lying table where children can see them. Ask among the parents to show to a number of children how fruit is defined into a bamboo skewer. The children need to do the same i.e. put fruits within the skewers, while naming the fruits because they do so and afterward they are able to enjoy eating them.

Hand Sunflowers
If you are searching for some summer crafts for preschoolers, a good idea is to have them paint sunflowers using their hands. To conduct this activity, you'll need construction paper, yellow and brown paint. Give all of the children construction paper, after writing their names towards the top of each of the papers. Next, paint both your hands of the children in yellow color and get them to make hand prints around the paper, in a circle. You are able to show how to do it for them to make it clearer. Once they are carried out, collect the papers and stick them around the walls. Then ask the kids to come up one by one and discover their own sunflower on the wall. When they do this, put some brown paint on their own thumb and ask them to put the thumb in the middle of the hand sunflower in order to make brown seeds. This really is one of the most enjoyable craft suggestions for preschoolers, which will make them feel happy with themselves too when they see their name on your wall, over their own handmade sunflower.
